Cabinets

PT Lowboy

The Lowboy set of cabinets was custom made to fit into this odd-sized cove in this family room. At nearly 20 feet long, this built in is composed of 5 cabinets and 4 drawers, providing plenty of storage and display space. The customer was seeking a minimalist European style and requested no visible handles. To compensate, each cabinet door and drawer is equipped with soft close and "push-to-open" hardware. The top is solid 1-inch thick Oak with cord management ports installed at regular intervals along the top for easy access to outlets below.

PR Bookshelves

The PR Bookshelves are built of Red Oak in a modern Craftsman style and given a natural finish to display the beautiful Oak grain. Each unit is composed of two pieces, the top shelving section and the bottom shelving section. All shelves are fully adjustable making any imaginable arrangement of shelves possible.

KJ Bookshelves

The KJ bookshelves were built as a matching pair to be placed on either side of a fireplace. Designed with a more traditional aesthetic to match other pieces in the customer's house,  visually "lighter" mouldings and paint color were used to refine and brighten the space.

Hall Console

The Hall Console was built to provide needed storage in the entryway. This version has tip-out style drawers suitable for quickly stowing away backpacks and bags. This cabinet can also be built with drawers, doors and a number of combo configurations.

This piece was built tradtionally with beaded frames and inset doors to give it a higher classical aesthetic. In keeping with tradition and maintaining a higher level of craft, the beads are routed into the stiles and rails of the doors and face frames. Jack miters are employed where two perpendicular pieces meet to seemlessly wrap the bead around the frames.
